Job Title: Registered Nurse II

Join UMMC Midtown Campus, part of the University of Maryland Medical Center, dedicated to community health and medical education in Baltimore City. We focus on managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseases.

Job Description

1. Perform assessments and reassessments, collecting data to assist with nursing diagnoses.
2. Develop and document an individualized Plan of Care with measurable goals.
3. Coordinate resources and personnel to implement the Plan of Care.
4. Administer treatments, including medications, as ordered, and perform nursing interventions.
5. Evaluate patient responses and revise the Plan of Care as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Nursing School with strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
• Licensed in Maryland.
• ACLS certification within 1 year for ICU/IMC, PACU, Interventional Radiology, GI Lab, and ED departments.
• BLS certification.
