Job summary

Main Line Health’s Riddle Hospital in Media, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal ICU weekend rotations. You will care for critically ill newborns as part of an interdisciplinary team and contribute to the patient and family experience.

The role requires 1 year of NICU experience (2+ years preferred). RN Diploma or ASN is required, BSN is preferred; relevant certifications include BLS and NRP. Per Diem scheduling applies, with a supportive career ladder.

Qualifications

  • One year of recent acute Neonatal ICU experience required.
  • Two or more years of NICU experience preferred.
  • RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Care for a critically ill newborn within a level II NICU.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient and family.
  • Participate in patient rounds and evidence-based practice initiatives.

As a part of our Interdisciplinary Team working within the level II Neonatal ICU unit, your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience. As a Registered Nurse, you would be caring for a critically ill newborn. Our Physicians are from CHOP.

Position:

Registered Nurse RN - Neonatal ICU

Shift:

7:00am- 7:30pm Every Other Weekend, Saturday and Sunday

Experience:

One year(s) of recent acute Neonatal ICU experience required. Two plus year of NICU experience preferred.

Education:

RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

  1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
  2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
  3. NRP

Requirements: This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
