Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). You will deliver high-level patient care to critically ill adults, perform frequent assessments, and tailor care plans with attention to hemodynamic stability and sedation needs.

You will monitor patients with invasive devices, manage complex medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on rounds and care adjustments.

Qualifikationen

Position Purpose:

At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) delivers patient care to individuals in critical condition.

What You Will Do:

• Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels.
• Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens.
  

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required
• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training.

Preferred

• Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• ACLS certification; support available for certification post-hire.
  

Position Highlights:

• Full-Time: 36 hrs/week – Night Shift
• Rotating weekends and holidays

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Staff RN position; pay range: $37.25 – $61.75/hour
  • Pay is based on working RN experience only. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
• Unit-based specialty pay is available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience
