Job summary

Inova in Leesburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Mother/Baby unit on a part-time basis. You will provide postpartum nursing care, assess patients, and coordinate multidisciplinary plans to optimize maternal and newborn outcomes.

The role requires a BSN, Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, and 1 year of critical care experience with postpartum preferred. Inova offers comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, loan repayment, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• 1 year of RN experience in a Critical Care setting; postpartum experience preferred.
• Virginia RN license or eligibility (multistate license acceptable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on start; ACLS/PALS within specified timelines.

• Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Experience: Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship. Preferred: Two years of recent experience on an inpatient postpartum unit.
• Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire

Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of recent inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) experience on a Postpartum unit
