Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey seeks a qualified RN licensed in NJ to deliver 9-1-1 Advanced Life Support and Specialty Care Transport services for patients of all ages. The role requires ICU/CCU/ED experience and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with EMT-B and other safety certifications preferred.

The position is full-time with an evening shift, offering 36 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package. A BSN is preferred and a valid NJ driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• 1 year minimum ICU/CCU/ED experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• EMT-B certification; HAZMAT Awareness; CBRNE/WMD Awareness.
• ICS 100/200/800 and NIMS 700.
• PHTLS/ITLS.
• Valid driver’s license in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide 9-1-1 Advanced Life Support and Specialty Care Transport for patients of all ages.
• Complete assigned shift with Evening schedule (Full-Time, 36 hours per week).

Qualifications

Required:

• Associates Degree
• RN licensed by the State of NJ
• 1 year minimum of ICU/CCU/ED experience
• AHA Basic Life Support
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• EMT-B
• HAZMAT Awareness
• CBRNE/WMD Awareness
• ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 800
• NIMS 700
• PHTLS/ITLS
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence meets our standards

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• NJ Paramedic (MICP) or NJ Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) or National Registry Paramedic and eligible for reciprocity
• 2 years of ICU/CCU/ED experience
• AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program
