RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time Night RN for the Mental Health Unit-Open Unit at Jersey City Medical Center. You will perform assessments, administer care, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient safety and outcomes.

The role requires NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS within 6 months, and preferred BSN with 2+ years in Behavioral Health. EPIC EMR experience is advantageous; schedule includes nights, with weekends and holidays rotating.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients

To be considered for this RN opportunity

you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement and a current American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS certification are required within 6 months from the date of hire. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health. This position offers a part-time night, Monday – Friday, scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and every other weekend and rotating holidays are required. The schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
