Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mental Health Unit, night shift, full-time.

The RN will coordinate care across disciplines, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, assist with discharge planning, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky.
• Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• You will perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse (RN)
• You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.
• You will teach patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care skills.
