ChristianaCare's 6C Medical Unit in Newark is hiring a Registered Nurse to help shape a new unit from the ground up. You’ll contribute ideas, participate in quality improvement initiatives, mentor peers, and pursue leadership opportunities within the organization.

This full-time, on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package, tuition reimbursement, shift differentials, and professional development support. Schedule: 36 hours/week, 7:00 am–7:30 pm, at the Newark Campus.

About the Unit

6C is a general medical unit caring for adult patients with a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Nurses develop strong assessment and critical thinking skills while caring for patients with diverse medical diagnoses and varying levels of complexity.

Common patient populations include, but are not limited to:

• Pneumonia
• Syncope
• Diabetes management
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Altered mental status
• General medical admissions requiring diagnostic evaluation and treatment

Weekend & Holiday Commitment: Per department guidelines

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
