RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Medical-Surgical Unit-II Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. The role emphasizes high-quality postoperative nursing, patient advocacy, and thorough documentation in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform assessments, administer evidence-based treatments, and educate patients and families while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required or as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, intervening early.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.

Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

At Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, the Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing a heightened level of observation and care to patients recovering from surgery. • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing; Hold a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A bachelor's degree in nursing is strongly preferred. This position offers a full-time 37.5-hour working week consisting of three 12.5 hour day shifts.
