Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Oncology ICU team. This 14-bed unit provides high-acuity care for adults with cancer and hematologic disorders, collaborating with intensivists, oncologists, and pharmacists.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in North Carolina, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

In the Medical Oncology Intensive Care Unit, nurses collaborate with board-certified intensivists, oncologists, and pharmacists to deliver advanced, compassionate care for the most complex cases. Expectations We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
