Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift on a 14-bed unit. The role involves delivering care to patients with chronic and acute diseases, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, cost-effective outcomes.

You will work two 12-hour night shifts per week, with a rotating schedule including every third weekend and holiday. A hiring bonus is included to recognize your commitment and expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/CCNE/ACEN accredited school of nursing or three years of related nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 14-bed unit; deliver care to patients with chronic and acute diseases of the heart, lung, GI, stroke, Covid and dialysis; collaborate and manage resources to achieve optimum outcomes.

Education

Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. The Registered Nurse will assist patients with obtaining a better quality of life by delivering care to patients with chronic and acute diseases of the heart, lung, GI, stroke, Covid and dialysis on a 14-bed unit.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience


• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
