Tower Health's Reading Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the R3S-Medical Unit on weekend shifts. The role delivers comprehensive nursing care, performs tests, administers medications, and educates patients and families to promote independence.

The unit serves adults with diverse medical needs; schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am–7:30pm. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and PA RN Temporary Practice Permit or RN License.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.

Job Summary

Unit Overview

R3S-Medical Unit: 36 bed medical unit serving adults with varying medical needs such as sepsis, cellulitis, gastrointestinal bleed, pneumonia, diabetic complications, urinary tract infection and other general medical needs. R3S works as a collaborative team to care for our patients to provide the best possible outcomes while maintaining patient’s preference. The unit care team on R3S, among others who care for the patients, is comprised of RN, patient care assistant, care manager, respiratory care, clinical nurse specialists and providers.

Work Schedule

Weekend only; Saturday & Sunday; 7:00am-7:30pm

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Certification and Licensure

• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License
