Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center, in Lexington, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Unit A. This 36-hour weekly schedule features 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with holiday requirements and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and participate in ongoing professional development within a 45-bed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
  • Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact or state-specific).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes; ensure accurate documentation and effective communication.

Where You’ll Work

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Surgical & Telemetry (Unit A)

Unit A is a 45-bed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit providing comprehensive care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

We’re Looking For
  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program
  • Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable)
