RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for RWJ Hamilton in Hamilton, NJ. The role offers a Day shift with a consistent 36 hours per week and a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

The RN will conduct patient assessments, administer care, document in EMR, and participate in rounds, with opportunities for professional growth. Candidates must hold an active New Jersey RN license and BLS certification; ASN or diploma required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey RN license and BLS certification required.
ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
Prior acute care experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene early.
Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care with strong clinical judgment.
Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care decisions.
Educate patients and families clearly, ensuring they feel informed and supported.
Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to enhance communication and transitions of care.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. ASN or Nursing diploma required. If candidate possesses ASN or Nursing diploma, must agree to complete BSN within five years of hire date. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior acute care experience,
