Job summary

Iredell Health System is seeking an RN for the Med Surg Team on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours/week). The RN prescribes nursing care, delegates activities and coordinates assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide high‑quality care aligned with the hospital’s mission and standards.

We offer a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates, a $4 night‑shift differential, a $4 pediatric differential when pediatric beds are assigned, and $10/hr for hours over 36

We currently have an opening for a full-time night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours per week) with competitive benefits including a $4 night shift differential, $4 pediatric differential when assigned to pediatric beds, additional pay of $10/hr. for any hours worked over 36 hours per week, and up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in North Carolina.
• Certification in BCLS by American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the RN will be working and addresses the growth and development needs for the patients for whom the RN will be providing nursing care.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
