Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital in Montana is seeking an RN to join our surgical services team. You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for surgical cases, ensuring safety and accurate documentation in line with AORN standards.

This role requires on-call coverage and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the nursing team. Candidates should have a nursing degree, Montana RN licensure, and OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree from an Accredited Nursing program.
• Previous OR experience preferred.
• MT RN Licensure required; ACL, PALS preferred; CNOR desired.
• Basic nursing principles and asepsis knowledge.
• Basic Office Skills – computer and keyboarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical patients per AORN standards.
• Ensure patient care, safety, and documentation in line with guidelines.
• Receive direction from Providers, Anesthesia providers, and Nurse Manager; supervise Surgical Technician and Instrument Technician.
• On-call duties required.

Position Overview

Responsible to plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical patients. Ensures patient care, safety standards, and documentation is carried out according to AORN standards, recommended practices, and guidelines. Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager. Gives direction to: Surgical Technician, Instrument Technician, Materials Mgmt. Clerk. Call required.

Education

• Degree from an Accredited Nursing program

Experience

• Previous O.R. experience preferred

License/Certifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
