Job summary

Great Falls Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg in Great Falls, Montana. You will deliver care using the nursing process and collaborate with Providers, directors, and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes on multiple shifts.

Experience in Med/Surg and Pediatric nursing preferred. Requires RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS to be completed within 6 months of hire; offers a culture of teamwork and opportunities for professional growth.

• Associates or better in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS to be completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Providers, Acute Care Director, Charge Nurse and other disciplines to ensure effective patient care.
• Provide care for pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures, with a broad range of medical conditions.
• Gives direction to LPNs, CNAs and other staff as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under direction from Providers, Acute Care Director and Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Hospital Nurses provide care for pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures, and with a broad range of medical conditions.Gives direction to , LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff. Receives direction from Providers, Acute Care Director, Charge Nurse and CNO

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

• Med/ Surgical Nursing experience preferred,
• Pediatric Nursing experience preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification to be completed with 6 months of hire.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures.
• Basic office skills, IV skills.
