Job Summary: The best nursing career is right here. St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 4S Med Surg Unit within the Ft. Thomas Hospital. This is a full-time position, 36 hours/week, day shift from 7A to 7P.

The licensed registered nurse is responsible for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients, utilizing the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse must demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, and staff, regardless of cultural background.

Qualifications
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, licensed to practice in the state of employment, meeting all contact hour requirements for licensure, including state-mandated courses. Education should promote competence in the clinical area.
Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of nursing theory, clinical standards, procedures, policies, and competence in medication calculations. Ability to perform safe nursing skills independently.
Experience: Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation, with the ability to critically think and problem-solve in routine and emergency situations.
