Job summary

Essentia Health is recruiting an RN for Northern Pines Medical Center to provide comprehensive nursing care through the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

The role involves responding to emergencies, delegating tasks as appropriate, and supporting patient transport. A BSN or ADN and current state license are required, with certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, CALS/TNCC, and ENPC/PALS pursued

• Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responds to emergency calls, assists ambulance team in performance of medical services and safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.

• Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) certification or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) OR MN State Trauma Modules within 1 year from the date of hire. (excluding Superior, Moose Lake, Ada and Sandstone locations)
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire.
