Job summary

West River Health Services is a mission-driven Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic serving residents of southwestern North Dakota. The RN role supports the MDS, ER, and OB teams, administering medications and monitoring patient progress in a high-quality, small-town setting.

You will supervise LPNs and nursing assistants, apply critical thinking to respond to changes in patient condition, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure in good standing.
• Accredited RN program completion (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per the nursing process.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood as ordered.
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants; communicate condition changes clearly.
• Apply critical thinking to recognize and respond to significant changes.
