Job summary

i4 Search Group Healthcare Recruiting is seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse in Wisconsin. The position offers full-time, part-time, and per diem options with day, night, and weekend shifts.

As a Med Surg RN, you will provide patient-centered care, administer medications, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Requires an ADN and active RN license in Wisconsin (or eligibility).
• BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
• English literacy: reading, writing, speaking.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies and life-threatening situations.

What You’ll Do

As a Med Surg RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centered care while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policy
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to achieve positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care
• Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights
• Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies and life‑threatening situations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and healing patient environment
• Participate in unit-based Quality Assurance and patient safety initiatives
• Support the orientation and training of new staff and nursing students as requested
• Practice within the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Active RN license eligible to practice in Wisconsin
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
• Ability to safely use patient care equipment and meet physical and cognitive job demands
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Pay & Differentials

• $33.00 – $51.50 per hour, based on experience
