Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Units | DIRECT HIRE/PERMANENT

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Compensation: ASN: $28.66–$47.29/hr | BSN: $30.66–$49.29/hr | Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000 | Relocation Assistance Available

Schedule: Full-time, flexible scheduling available; multiple shifts offered across units

Position Overview

We're seeking compassionate, team-oriented Registered Nurses to join one of several available Med/Surg units at a well-respected acute care hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Nurses will choose from a variety of units based on interest and experience, each offering a unique learning environment and growth opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care across designated Med/Surg unit
• Monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care
• Support departmental goals and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Indiana (or ability to obtain after offer)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ASN, or BSN)
• CPR certification (additional certifications may be required depending on the unit)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• RN experience in an acute care setting required
