Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an RN for inpatient/hospital care in Dixon, IL. You will collaborate with providers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care across the continuum.

The role requires RN licensure in IL or MI and current BLS certification. Night and weekend differentials apply; sign-on bonus may be available and full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required before start date.
• Experience as RN in healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination with providers and multidisciplinary team members.
• Assess physical symptoms and support patients and families.
• Mentor assigned team members and uphold professional standards.
• Operate in hospital inpatient/ED units with 24/7 care.

Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Night Differential: $4.00/hr

Weekend Differential: $3.25/hr

0-2 yrs RN experience, 2-yr work commitment

$5K up front and $5K at the end of one year

2+ yrs RN experience, 2-year work commitment

$15K up front and $5K at the end of one year

Overview

Position Summary

Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Required Qualifications

License/Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
