Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the 7N Surgery Orthopedics unit. The role covers two 12-hour night shifts (7 pm–7 am) with weekend and holiday coverage in a 48-bed Orthopedic Surgery, Medical Surgical, Telemetry unit.

Eligible for benefits, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and sign-on/relocation bonuses available under specified conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of inpatient RN experience (1 year preferred).
• Accredited nursing program completion.
• Registered Nurse license issued in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience outside of the New Grad residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care consistent with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and compassionate communication to create a safe patient environment and high patient experience.

Where You Will Work

48‑bed Orthopedic Surgery, Medical Surgical, Telemetry Unit. Procedures include total joint (knee, hip, shoulder), spine, shoulder procedures, and general medical patients.
