Additional Information About the RoleBJC is creating a team of equipment specialists to focus on OR equipment. In this role, the working manager will oversee a team of specialists, help to grow the team and provide the appropriate onboarding and team support.
This is an exciting opportunity with experience in leadership and specialized operating room equipment to motivate and develop a team for a growing Perioperative Services business line.
This is a 24/7 operation. The Periop Service Manager will be required to work occasional weekends and off hours to connect with the team and provide audits of quality and service.

Role Purpose
Manages all aspects of the BJH Perioperative Services Equipment management program including but not limited to capital planning, inventory management, clinical and support staff education/in-service, setup, troubleshooting, and coordination with CE on equipment PM and repairs. Oversees a team of equipment specialists with oversight for all clinical equipment (capital and non-capital) for Perioperative Services, requiring a high degree of technical knowledge of complex monitoring instrumentation, anesthesia machines, alarm devices, life support and specialty equipment.
