Job summary

StoneCreek Health and Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing and managing nursing care, education, and resident support. An unrestricted RN license and CPR certification are required for consideration.

The RN will supervise CNAs, coordinate resident care on the unit, and ensure safe, accurate medication interventions. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time employment through 10/31/26.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license required.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.
