Job summary

StoneCreek Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team in North Carolina. The RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education for our residents, under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

The role includes supervising CNAs, coordinating unit care, and administering medications, with documentation of physician orders and changes in status. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have an unrestricted RN license.
• Valid CPR Certification is required.
• Sign-On Bonus for Full Time- $8,000 valid thru 10/31/26.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring staff capability for appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Transcribe and coordinate physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physician of changes in status; implement orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Institute nursing interventions to stabilize residents or prevent complications.
• Contribute to resident assessments and care plan development.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the RN may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.

• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.

• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.

• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.

• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.

• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.

• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.

• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
