Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Claremore, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a variable shift, PRN, Labor and Delivery (LDRP) role. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Oklahoma RN license, with BLS due within two weeks of hire and NRP within six months.

Experience in acute care and at least one year in Labor and Delivery is preferred to join a dedicated team supported by Hillcrest Hospital Claremore’s services and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• NRP required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing care delivery on the unit by applying the nursing process for all patients.
• Supervises and coordinates personnel assigned to unit/patient care to promote teamwork with physicians and other departments.

• Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity and women’s services, ICU and cardiology services in the advanced cardiac catheterization lab.

Supports the organization’s mission, vision and values by exhibiting competence in demonstrating knowledge and skillto carry out nursing process when providing care to all patients; supervising delegating, coordinating personnel assigned to unit/patient care. Should always promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments, performing age-specific care as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN license
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required within (6) months

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One or more current years of acute care experience as an RN with (1) year experience in Labor and Delivery
