Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Claremore in Claremore, OK is seeking a night shift, full-time ICU Registered Nurse. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Oklahoma RN license, with BLS due within 14 days and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Prior acute care experience is preferred and benefits are provided. The ICU RN will deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and ensure accurate nursing documentation and patient safety

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Oklahoma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date.
• 1+ year of acute care RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU to meet individualized care needs.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients and staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure patient safety and quality standards.

• Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity and women's services, ICU and cardiology services in the advanced cardiac catheterization lab.

Supports the organization's mission, vision and values by exhibiting competence in demonstrating knowledge and skill to carry out nursing process when providing care to all patients; supervising delegating, coordinating personnel assigned to unit/patient care when in charge. Should always promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments, performing age-specific care as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified (within 6 months of date of hire)
