ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team at the Newark Campus in Newark, DE. You will support a 12-hour night shift schedule, with weekend/holiday commitments, and on-call rotations, contributing to high‑quality maternity care for mothers and newborns.

The role offers cross-training in Labor & Delivery, High-Risk OB, OB Peri-Operative Services, and Antenatal care, with potential opportunities to advance into OB Emergency.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• Two years of Acute Care RN experience required.
• Experience in inpatient Women's & Children's, PACU, or Emergency Dept preferred.
• Delaware RN licensure or multistate license eligible in Delaware.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns.
• Support empowering birth experiences and family-centered care.
• Collaborate with obstetric teams across services.

ChristianaCare is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team at our Newark Campus. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise through cross-training in multiple specialty areas, including:

• Labor & Delivery
• High-Risk Obstetrics (OB)
• OB Peri-Operative Services
• Antenatal Care

After establishing yourself within Labor & Delivery, you may also have the opportunity to further develop your skills in our OBGYN Emergency.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire

• Delaware RN licensure or multistate RN licensure that is eligible in the state of Delaware required.
• BLS certification required.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
