Frisco Medical Center Llp is seeking a registered nurse for Labor & Delivery who will plan, direct, organize and deliver nursing care to patients in labor, delivery and recovery. The RN ensures safe, high-quality care in line with standards and cares for patients from adolescence to middle age.

Required are Texas RN licensure and BLS; NRP and ACLS must be completed within 90 days of employment and before orientation concludes. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Texas.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS required within stated timelines.

This position has a $15,000 Sign-on bonus.

The RN is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for the labor, delivery, and recovery patient in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care to maintain compliance with professional nursing, Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for patients of all ages, from adolescents to middle-aged adults.

Position Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN in the hospital setting on an L/D unit.
• RN licensure, current in the State of Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification is required within 90 days of employment and prior to completing orientation.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 90 days of employment and before completing orientation.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
