Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Labor and Delivery unit is seeking an experienced RN to manage nursing service activities and provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and their families. The role emphasizes collaboration with medical staff and maintaining a caring, respectful environment.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing, an active Texas RN license, and 1+ year L&D experience, with BLS, NRP, ACLS and Fetal Monitoring certifications current or to be completed within

Directs nursing service activities of the Labor and Delivery Department. Renders specialized professional nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery. Treats patients and their families with courtesy and respect. Creates a trusting attitude in both parents towards nursing and helps them accept their responsibility as parents. In support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect patient care.

• Minimum Education: Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum Experience: RN with a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience required
• Required Certification: BLS, NRP, ACLS & Fetal Monitoring required**
• Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license
