Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week contract in Hinesville, GA. The role supports an LDRP model in a small-hospital setting with a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM day shift, three 12s per week and an every-other-weekend schedule.

Active GA RN license and BLS/ACLS/NRP/STABLE certifications are required, along with strong clinical assessment and excellent communication to care for mothers during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia (GA).
• Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP and STABLE certifications.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor and delivery procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and family members regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital, regulatory, and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
• Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current NRP certification.
• Current STABLE certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a community hospital setting.
• Experience managing high-acuity Labor & Delivery patients.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
