We are seeking Registered Nurses to join a hospital-based Labor & Delivery team in Brunswick, Georgia.
The Maternity Care Center has recently transitioned into dedicated Labor & Delivery and Postpartum areas. Nurses in this position will primarily work within Labor & Delivery but must also be comfortable providing postpartum care when needed.
The Labor RN manages patients throughout the obstetric care continuum, including antepartum triage, labor, delivery, Cesarean section circulation and recovery, and postpartum care.
Experienced acute-care hospital RNs from other specialties who are interested in transitioning into Labor & Delivery may also be considered and will complete an approximately six-month L&D orientation program.
Previous Labor & Delivery experience is strongly preferred.
RNs currently working in another acute-care hospital specialty may be considered for a transition into Labor & Delivery. Candidates pursuing this pathway must be willing to complete an approximately six-month orientation and training program.
