Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery on a full-time day shift. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus eligible and a schedule of three 12-hour shifts.

Labor & Delivery experience is required. You must hold an RN license with BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP; Handle with Care is preferred. Frye Regional emphasizes comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
