Proforma Health Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery role in a well-supported Birthing Center.

Responsibilities include maternal and newborn care, managing labor and antepartum/postpartum patients, and supporting a collaborative team per AWHONN staffing guidelines. Ideal candidates will hold an Illinois RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications and have OB/L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license with BLS/ACLS/NRP required.
• 1+ year OB or L&D experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Ability to independently manage labor patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality maternal and newborn care across labor, antepartum, postpartum, and GYN surgical patients.
• Manage labor using OBIX EFM system and maintain patient safety and appropriate staffing ratios.
• Support a collaborative team following AWHONN staffing guidelines.

Key duties:

• maintaining patient safety, utilizing OBIX EFM system, managing neonatal respiratory support, and ensuring adherence to staffing ratios.

Qualifications:

• active Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and at least 1 year of OB or L&D experience (2 years preferred).
• Ability to independently manage labor patients is required.

Skills:

• proficiency in EMR systems, strong teamwork, and ability to handle diverse patient populations.

Schedule & Compensation:

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus, competitive hourly pay, and support programs.
