Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Women’s Services RN to join the OB/Labor & Delivery team in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The role focuses on caring for mothers and newborns in a supportive, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Arizona RN license (or Compact with Arizona endorsement).
• ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cares for mother and newborn during labor and delivery.
• Follow AWHONN best practices for quality and safe patient care.
• Provide postpartum recovery support and newborn education.
• Document care promptly in the patient chart.
• Support physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Education

How you’ll contribute

• Safely cares for the mother and newborn throughout the labor and delivery process, ensuring a comfortable, stable, and caring environment.

• Follow all AWHONN best practices for quality and safe patient care.

• Provides holistic postpartum recovery support, comprehensive clinical assessments, and vital education on newborn care and breastfeeding.

• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Accurately documents all patient care provided in a timely manner.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement, and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS and PALS required

• Experience: 2 years of OB nursing experience or current Women’s Services nurse required
