Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Womens Services RN for the nights shift. Join a compassionate team caring for mothers and newborns in a modern labor and delivery setting in Arizona.

You will provide comprehensive postpartum support, education, and documentation while following best practices to ensure patient- and family-centered care. A BSN is preferred and ACLS/BCLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or Compact license with Arizona endorsement.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely cares for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Follows AWHONN best practices for quality and safe patient care.
• Provides postpartum recovery support, education on newborn care and breastfeeding.
• Documents all patient care timely and accurately.

How you'll contribute

A Womens Services RN who excels in this role:

Safely cares for the mother and newborn throughout the labor and delivery process, ensuring a comfortable, stable, and caring environment.

Follows all AWHONN best practices for quality and safe patient care.

Provides holistic postpartum recovery support, comprehensive clinical assessments, and vital education on newborn care and breastfeeding.

Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Accurately documents all patient care provided in a timely manner.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement, and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Education:

Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

Certifications:

BCLS, ACLS and PALS required

Experience:

2 years of OB nursing experience or current Women's Services nurse required
