Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing is required
• Active RN license in good standing
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Solid understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and healthcare professionals during diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, addressing allergic reactions or complications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic procedures
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits of tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per hospital policies

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
