Job summary

The Radiology Staff Nurse at Emerson Health will provide quality nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients in the radiology department, including pediatric, adult and elderly patients. The role requires readiness to manage emergencies during radiological procedures while maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and safety.

You will work day shift on a full-time schedule, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, in Massachusetts, with licensure and certifications (MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• 3 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Current license as a professional nurse in Massachusetts required.
• BLS healthcare provider required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

About this role

Reporting to the Radiology Nurse Supervisor, the Radiology Staff Nurse will provide quality‑nursing care to both in and out patients in the department or radiology including pediatric, adult, elderly, acutely and chronically ill/patients. The Radiology Nurse must be prepared to handle all unexpected emergencies that occur during any radiological procedure. The nurse ensures patient privacy, dignity, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Critical care experience required.

Licensure and/or Certification

• Current license as a professional nurse in Massachusetts required.
• BLS healthcare provider required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
