Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Interventional Cardiac Services team. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care during invasive vascular procedures in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a nursing program completion, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification. Work hours include 10-hour shifts with on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work

This team provides invasive diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting blood vessels in the brain, head, neck, and spine. Procedures include cerebral angiography, mechanical thrombectomy for acute stroke, aneurysm treatment, embolization, and intracranial stenting. The team work collaboratively with interventionalist to provide highly specialized, time-sensitive care designed to protect neurological function and improve patient outcomes. We have 1 hybrid lab where these procedures are primarily performed. Procedures may also be performed in 2 of the cath labs. Staff work hours: 7a-530p (4 10-hr shifts). Nights, weekends, and holidays are covered with on call. Nurses administer moderate sedation for most cases. Cases requiring deep/general anesthesia are supported by anesthesia.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
