Job summary

MedStar Health Washington Hospital Center is hiring a Clinical Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit. You will provide skilled, compassionate care to diverse patients, monitor conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with the nursing team and physicians to ensure timely interventions.

Requirements include ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL from an accredited school, at least one year in IMC or related area, and MD RN license with active BLS. Competitive benefits and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of IMC or related experience
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

About the Job

Unit Highlights

As part of the critical care service line, our Intermediate Care Unit serves a variety of complex medical and surgical patients that need frequent monitoring and nursing interventions. A 16-bed unit with the ability to expand to 20 beds, when necessary, the nursing staff working closely with Hospitalists and Critical Care Medicine providers to ensure timely and appropriate care of patients requiring various levels of high flow oxygen therapy as well as continuous IV Medications. Available positions: Full-time: 7:00am-7:00pm
