The 3East - Intermediate Care Unit enjoys a supportive team environment and nurse patient ratio with unit-based nurse educator, team coordinator and manager. The unit participates in hospital Magnet redesignation journey. All new grad RNs receive a 10‑12 week clinical preceptorship and enrollment in Transition to Practice Program.
Patient population may include: sepsis, hemorrhage, stroke, cardiac, trauma, post‑op, substance withdrawal, diabetic ketoacidosis.
