Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center - Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehab

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Rehab unit in Nanty Glo, PA. This full-time position involves variable 12-hour shifts, including 2 weekends per month, with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.

Department/Unit Summary

Our Crichton Center is a 27-bed physical rehabilitation unit providing acute care services, managing patients' medical conditions, and offering therapy and education to help patients return to their prior level of function and home. The most common diagnosis is stroke, with an average length of stay of 14 days. We are expanding to 37 beds and offer flexible self-scheduling for nurses.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must hold a current state RN license and have an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• CPR certification renewal every 2 years
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in medical/surgical or rehab settings
• IV proficiency preferred
