Trinity Health MI – Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehab unit. This part-time role involves rotating shifts and provides patient-centered care within a collaborative rehab team.

The unit recently expanded to a 40-bed facility and participates in the SCI Model System, with supportive university collaborations. Applicants must hold a Michigan nursing license, have a BSN or commit to obtaining one within five years, and bring rehab experience.

• Minimum 1 year of rehab nursing experience.

Position Purpose

The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

The Inpatient Rehab units at Chelsea Hospital care for patients requiring comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation after traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, amputations, debility, poly trauma or spinal cord injuries. Inpatient Rehab is a collaborative program between Chelsea Hospital and University of Michigan Health, staffed by a team of award-winning U-M Health rehab physicians and Chelsea Hospital nurses, therapists, and specialists.

Our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit has recently expanded to a 40-bed unit and is now accepting higher acuity patients. As part of our commitment to excellence in patient care, we are proud to be participating in the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Model System.

Shift Available: Rotating

Status Available: Contingent, not benefit eligible

Holiday commitment required

Required Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
• Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply
• Must have at least 1 year clinical experience working in rehab as a nurse
