Chelsea Hospital, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehab unit in Chelsea, MI. Night shift coverage is 7pm–7:30am; the unit recently expanded to 40 beds and participates in the SCI Model System.

This full-time role requires Michigan RN licensure, BSN or plan to obtain within five years, and support for ongoing education. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years

Position Purpose

The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

The Inpatient Rehab units at Chelsea Hospital care for patients requiring comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation after traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, amputations, debility, poly trauma or spinal cord injuries. Inpatient Rehab is a collaborative program between Chelsea Hospital and University of Michigan Health, staffed by a team of award-winning U-M Health rehab physicians and Chelsea Hospital nurses, therapists, and specialists. Our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit has recently expanded to a 40-bed unit and is now accepting higher acuity patients. As part of our commitment to excellence in patient care, we are proud to be participating in the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Model System.

Shift and Status

Shift Available: Night Shift – 7pm-7:30am Status Available: Full time & part time, benefit eligible (72 and 48 hours per pay period – every two weeks) Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required
