Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Chelsea hospital Nursing Resource Pool. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with flexible float coverage across listed units. The position is full-time with a 72-hour per pay period schedule and includes benefits.

Shift available is 7pm–7:30am, with every third weekend and holiday requirements. BSN within five years is required if not already held, and Canadian nurses are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Michigan Nursing License is required.
• Minimum of one year of recent medical-surgical or higher acuity nursing experience required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• New hires must have a BSN degree or commit to obtain BSN within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Float to units listed under the Nursing Resource Pool as needed (Atrium East/West, Courtyard East).

This makes our float pools a reliable resource for our units, which means more manageable patient ratios. In the Nursing Resource Pool you could float to any of the units listed below:

• Atrium East (Med/Surg)
• Atrium West & Courtyard Rehab (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
• Courtyard East (Med/Surg)

The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

Shift Available: 7pm-7:30am

Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period - every two weeks) Every 3rd Weekend and holiday requirements

Required Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• One year of recent medical-surgical or higher acuity level nursing experience required
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
• Canadian Nurse are encouraged to apply
