• Department: Inpatient Acute Rehab
• Schedule: Full Time, 7:00pm - 7:30am with alternating weekends
• Hospital: Resurrection Medical Center
• Location: Chicago, IL 60631

Responsibilities

As a RN on our Acute Rehab unit, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directing and guiding patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• Responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Providing a safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Communicating with physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.

2. BLS certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.

3. Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
