The unit is a 30-bed Telemetry/Stroke unit with 1:5 staffing and strong leadership. New graduates may be welcome; base pay range for full-time is $41.93–$61.01 hourly with additional shift differentials and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Students in process of completing an accredited nursing program.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• NIH within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring an RN for a Day shift on our IMCU in Charlottesville, VA.

Shifts Available:

Full Time Days (three 12-hour shifts)

Full Time Nights ( three 12-hour shifts)

Part Time Days (two 12-hour shifts)

Sign on bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified Full time candidates or $7,500 for part time!

Intermediate Care Unit - Cornell 1: The Telemetry/Stroke Unit at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital provides care for patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post- coronary interventions, post-ablation, myocardial infarctions. Cornell 1 also cares for TIA, acute stroke, and post procedural neuro cases that stepdown from ICU. This 30-bed unit sees a ratio of 1:5 with mixed patient acuity levels and is well supported with additional patient care technicians, educators, and a strong leadership team.

Education
