Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth, part of Texas Health Resources, is hiring an RN II for surgery on the evening shift. The role requires RN licensure, an associate degree or diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN residency. The unit handles high-acuity surgical cases with robotics and advanced procedures.

Work location is Fort Worth, TX, with a 36-hour weekly schedule. Benefits include 401k, PTO, health/dental, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.

Work Schedule: Full – Time, Evening Shift (36 Hours/Week)

Department Highlights

  • Level I Trauma Candidate performing high-acuity and intense surgical procedures capable of providing excellent clinical experience to the new hire.

Here’s What You Need
Education
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred
Experience
  • 1 Year Of Experience as a Registered Nurse or the completion of an RN residency program Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current RN licensure Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days of Hire Required
